Last day of qualification games brought us the most interesting match against Qatar and Oman, match that decided which team will play in semifinal of first Asian beach games. After two equal sets and shoot out, selection of Qatar had more luck and knowledge and won 2 points against Oman.

Third victory of Pakistan was hard to obtain. Winner of this match was known merely after the shoot out. This result of game was typical and frequent in beach handball. First period Pakistan hardly beat selection of Kuwait with 15 goals difference, but in the second set Kuwait did the same thing to Pakistan. These results gave additional attractiveness to beach handball. But, as we predicted yesterday: Pakistan will oppose to Qatar in semifinal match,and Kuwait will try to beat Thailand in second semifinal match.

With today’s victory over India, Chinese Taipei secured the first place in group and avoided the fight with China in the semifinal which has certainly been primarily target. India lost the first set relatively easily and then they have tried to compensate that in the second set, but the opportunity for shoot out they did not get.They lost second period for 1 point. That means that they will play with China in the semifinal match. It will be certainly interesting duel.
In the second game in this group, selection of Vietnam scored first two points against Indonesia.

As we assumed earlier, Peoples republic of China won in match against selection of Jordan. The status of the biggest favorite to win the championships they maintained even after these matches. China will meet selection of India in the semifinals.
Second game in this group set out victory to selection of Japan. After this game we may conclude that selection of Hong Kong is the only one without victory so far.
