Dear beach handball and handball friends,
BHC Zagreb is organizing a beach handball tournament from 1st until 3rd May 2009 on the beach handball playground of ŠRC Jarun (big lake of Jarun, Zagreb). This is the second year of organization of this tournament. Last year we organized, very successfully, a tournament for the seniors on the Bundek lake, also in Zagreb. This year, to support the development of young people in this sport, we decided also to organize a tournament for juniors (18 years old). This tour will be held on the 1st May 2009 and seniors will play on Saturday and Sunday (2nd and 3rd May).
It’s important to say that during the tours all the participants will have the opportunity to win prizes and the first three teams in every category will win a cup. There will be also a selection of the best 4 players which will also win special prizes. The application costs 100 kn per junior team and 200 kn per senior team. With this money all the expenses of the tournament will be covered. BHC Zagreb will ensure volunteers and equipment necessary for the tournament. In the case of redundancy of money it will be spent for the preparations and organization of the travels on the foreign tours for our junior teams. A detailed program and schedule of the competition will be notified after all the teams interested in participation turn in. The tournament will be held whatever the weather conditions. If there are any special demands regarding the schedule for any team please write it in the application form and we will try to fix the schedule.
