Last weekend
BHC Zagreb has entered the prestige Czech tournament Bela cup 2010 with women
team Detono Zagreb and men team Chemo profili Zagreb.
Every year 20
women teams ad 32 men teams come to Bela
Pod Bezdezem to play beach handball, because of high interest just entering the
tournament is considered as success. Applications usually end in March.
Girls from
Detono Zagreb have won all the matches in group(all 2:0) and continued that way
in quarter final, semi final and final, winning the cup without losing a single
set.
Lucie Kantůrková,
tournament organizer said that most Czech teams don’t train specially for beach
handball, they play handball during the year and that’s way play was a lot
roughly than usual and also without scoring for 2 points.
Men team Chemo profile
Zagreb has also won all the matches in group 2:0, in round 16 our team has won 2:1 on shoot out(12:11), later in quarter final,
semi-final against Slovak team Mýtnický vlci and in final against friends from
Hungary BHC Fireball, Chemo profili has won 2:0, winning the tournament with
just one set lost.
That is how the
Czech Republic was conquered! Congrats to both men and women team, especially
best player in women category Lucija Babun.
