Croatian teams first in Switzerland

By
winning the double crown, in men and women categories, Detono Zagreb has started
this season perfectly. Especially when you see that the first tournament of new
season, held in Einsiedeln, Switzerland had a pretty large competition, with teams
from Norway, Netherlands, Croatia(5 teams) and Switzerland of course. This was the
5th year the tournament has been held.

Croatian teams have showed that there is a lot of talent in Croatia, so Chemo
profili Zagreb have finished 8th, BHC Dubrava 5th, BHC Sokol
3rd and for the 3rd time in this tournament history Detono
Zagreb have won the 1st place in man category. Women team Detono Zagreb
have also won the 1st place.

Our
primary goal for this tournament was playing in the finals and checking in what
kind of shape our players are. I’m really proud of my teammates, because it wasn’t
even close to easy winning this tournament. It all came down to one save from our
goalkeeper Jugovic in the finals. Guys from Norway did their best and we couldn’t
say a word in case that they won. They have showed that they will be tough opponent
in the future. – Ivan Jurić, Croatian national team player
