Proteklog vikenda Akademski klub rukometa na pijesku Zagreb sudjelovao je na turniru koji se već šestu godinu održava u zimskom terminu unutar prekrasne Beachplus arene za pjeskaške sportove. AKRP Zagreb je ove godine po prvi put na navedenom turniru nastupio s čak 5 ekipa, u kojima su većinom bili raspoređeni mladići i djevojke koji bi uzrastom mogli konkurirati u kadetskim i juniorskim natjecanjima. Krenimo redom, opisom pojedine ekipe te nabrajanjem uspjeha kojeg su navedene ekipe i ostvarile…

BEACH HANDBALL TOURNAMENT ˝ JARUN 2009˝

Dear beach handball and handball friends,

BHC Zagreb is organizing a beach handball tournament from 1st until 3rd May 2009 on the beach handball playground of ŠRC Jarun (big lake of Jarun, Zagreb). This is the second year of organization of this tournament. Last year we organized, very successfully, a tournament for the seniors on the Bundek lake, also in Zagreb. This year, to support the development of young people in this sport, we decided also to organize a tournament for juniors (18 years old). This tour will be held on the 1st May 2009 and seniors will play on Saturday and Sunday (2nd and 3rd May).

Yesterday we received details on our official mail address about last EBT tournament in this season (for our teams). Beach handball club Axa beach stars from Budapest organize 24 hour beach handball tournament and they intend to get in Guinness book of world records. I must say that this is a very good idea for beach handball promotion. Many Hungarian teams will support this idea. Two teams from Croatia, beside our teams, will participate on this tournament: KRP Dugi Rat and White boys. One team from Italy in men and women category will participate too.
