This weekend was held European beach handball tournament Masters finals on the courts of Stella Maris in Umag, Croatia. Croatia had her representative in the finals, Detono Zagreb, that lost in tense final against excellent team BMP Alcala from Spain, after the shoot-out and won the 2nd place.
Next weekend (1st and 2nd of June) will be held European beach handball tournament Masters finals. For the first time organization of this tournament is going to take place in Croatia, in Umag. There will compete the best 8 teams in both competition.

Već je otprije poznato da će sedmo izdanje europskog prvenstva u rukometu na pijesku i drugo europsko juniorsko prvenstvo organizirati Hrvatski rukometni savez. Navedena događanja održat će se u Umagu. Po prvi put dogodit će se da će oba natjecanja (juniorsko i seniorsko) u muškoj i ženskoj konkurenciji biti na istom mjestu.
The 7th edition of the European Beach Handball Championships will be organised in Umag, Croatia.
The
tournament will be carried out as one joint event for men, women and
younger age categories and is scheduled for 26 June to 03 July 2011.

Za nešto više od 6 mjeseci odigrat će se sedmo izdanje
najjačeg reprezentativnog europskog natjecanja u rukometu na pijesku. Prvenstvo
će se najvjerojatnije odigrati u periodu između 11.-18.06.2011. (iako su moguće
i male preinake u vezi zadanog datuma).
