Dear EBT tournament organisers and teams,
As it was already announced on the EBT website, the EHF Beach Handball Commission (BC)
has decided at its last meeting on 18/19 September 2009 to make changes and adaptations for
the upcoming EBT season.
Last night in the Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung eighth World Games were opened. For the first
time in its history, Taiwan has organized this great international sporting
event.
At this moment Croatian national beach handball team gather to go to the Far East, Kaohsiung in
Taiwan, where 16 – 26 July 2009. 8th World Games will be held.
Following players will participate for the men’s team: Luka Bumbak, Josip Šandrk, Ivan
Jurić, Hrvoje Horvat, Mladen Paradžik, Krešimir Malbašić, Drago Vojnović, Davor
Rokavec, Ninoslav Pavelić,(coach Siniša
Ostoić) while for the women selection will play the following players: Dubravka
Bukovina, Marina Bazzeo, Anja Daskijević, Josipa Grebenar, Snježana Botica,
Melita Jug, Ivana Lovrić, Vlatka Šamarinec, Jelena Vidović (coach Mateja Brezić).
After
great success in Zagreb open where our club won double title one month
ago, our players repeated the same thing and won both titles in
Crikvenica open which is the second tournament of Croatian championships.
Men
team got through preliminary group beating two games against Chuck Norris and
Nehajgrad imobilia teams by 2:0.

Our beach handball teams Detono Zagreb (women) and Chemo profili Zagreb (men) won second and fourth place on of the strongest beach handball tournaments in Czech republic.
Our little crew (5 women and 7 men players) went to a trip on Thursday and they arrived in Bela Pod Bezdezem aproximately at Midnight. The rest of the team arrived on Saturday (two players and president of our club).

On the third day of the European Beach Handball Championship men’s team played the last match in the group against the always uncomfortable opponent – Hungary.

Hello, please introduce yourself and tell us something about your function in European (beach) handball federation.
My name is Peter Fröschl, full time employee of the EHF since 1997 and responsible for selected areas in the fields of Methods and for Beach Handball in general.
A lot of registration,100 % responding of teams,so many young people on ŠRC Jarun,and so many visitors who came watching this event,the weather was good until the end-that’s the way how I can describe,in sort lines,today’s sport event on ŠRC Jarun.
The winner of the 1st juniors beach handball tournament was the girls from the team TUTLEK, and boys from the team KRP Maksimir Pastela.
